Biography:
HuiqingWang graduated from Department of Materials Science and Engineering,Beijing Institute of Technology,China, in 2013. Her PostDoc wasconducted at Wuhan University in the laboratory directed by Prof.Lina Zhang. She is currently an Associate Professor of PolymerScience in School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, HefeiUniversity of Technology,China. Her research group focuses onadvanced functional cellulose/chitin materials, including new methodsand novel structure of cellulose/chitin nanomaterials.
ResearchInterests:
WangHuiqing's current research direction is advanced functional materialsbased on natural polymers, mainly on cellulose and chitin, fromthree-dimensional structure to two-dimensional sheet andone-dimensional fiber and their high-value utilization, such asaerogels, membranes, coatings, porous carriers for drug or enzyme,nanocellulose for cell-binder,bio-composites.
