Biography:
Prof.Jun Yin, graduated from University of Science and Technology of China(USTC) with a doctorate degree in 2010. He did postdoctoral researchat Nanyang Technological University in Singapore from 2010 to 2012and then joined Hefei University of Technology in July 2012. Hisscientific interest is focused on the design, preparation andapplication of functional biomedical polymer materials.He is the seniormember of the Chinese Chemical Society and had presided over morethan 10 national and provincial projects. He had published more than60 papers in international journals such as Macromolecules,Chem. Mater., Biomacromolecules,including 3 invited Review articles. His published papers have beencited more than 2,000 times with an H-Index of 28, in which twopapers was chosen as "Journal Hot Article" and "ESIHighly Cited"; He obtained 15 patents (7 granted patent forinvention and 1 for utility models). Under his guidance,undergraduate students won the bronze prize and the best popularityprize in the finals of the 2nd National Polymer Materials Contest, aswell as the second prize in the Central China Region of the 3rdNational College Students' Chemistry Experiment Innovation and DesignCompetition.Forthe students in his group, fivepersons awarded the national scholarships, one awarded the PolymerDuffy Scholarship, three obtained the honor "Graduates withExcellent Character", and one won the second prize in the annualconference of the university's postgraduate students' academicexchanges.

1.Design and synthesis of environmentally responsive softsubstance-based drug-controlled release carriers;
2.Chemical and biological probes and their application in heavy metalion detection;
3.Synthesis and functionalization of polymer/hybrid material-protein(DNA) affixes.
